Meet Max!

This is Max! He's a lovable mutt that is a mix between a black lab and a golden retriever. We rescued him in April 2020 when his original family surrendered him through an ad on Craigslist. At one year of age, he wasn't potty trained and generally caused daily havoc for his original family. They were so frustrated with him that they literally gave us everything of his from his crate to his hair clippers...for free as long as I picked him up within the hour after I responded to the ad. 😱

While I experienced frustration with him at first, I have found him to be a perfect dog for my family! He's still not potty trained which is not from lack of trying, but he's quick to learn new tricks, stay out of the trash and he's becoming a good boy when walking on a leash; he just needed dedicated time and consistent instruction. 💖

He's usually not this calm and quiet which is why I love this picture so much!
